Pros
- Consumption allocations up to business units
- Integrating with other systems like Snow, Azure, etc.
Cons
- Better capacity to improve load times on reporting and back-end tables
- Reporting visuals and customization and formatting to be easier to do instead of HTML etc
We use datalink to connect to different data sources to pull into our platform. And data modeling to transform the data and allocate to each object and business unit using different consumption methods like headcount, power usage, revenue, number of customers, etc.
- It has helped us realize savings that we wouldn't be able to see without it. We would never be able to quantify the cost at an individual app level. Our ApptioOne model allows us to do that!
