Apptio One is used in our org for costing out our IT costs both on prem and cloud. We use the cost transparency to assist the break out of cost associated with IT Towers. Next step in our journey is to explore TCO and be able to tie costs back to specific products.
- Visibility into a granular view of IT cost
- Ability to provide insights on financial spend
- Intuitive for business users
Our org hasn't expanded on the forcasting aspect as much as it is highlighting the value it provides to the business via modeling in terms of how much is being spent for labor and non labor expenses
- It has sparked good conversation between business and IT regarding the way contracts are procured
- Identified gaps in process
- Cloudability
