Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is used to manage engineering drawings and models for various parts as well as organize our BOM and manage our various releases into production.

Redline the BOM while you make changes
Links back to the change order from the part you are working with
Manages the various released revisions to go back and look at

Cons

There are some functions that I am not sure what they are for and are maybe not needed.

I am just a co-op, so I am not sure what impact it has had. But I find it very useful.

I did not decide to purchase Arena but hear that the price is reasonable for all the features that are offered, and I can vouch for those features.

Arena Implementation

I came after the company had already implemented it.

While creating an ECO, I find it easy to add and remove items and keep track of what has changed to that part. It tells you if files were added as well as what's in it's BOM without having to bring it up in a separate tab.
