Overall Satisfaction with Arena PLM and QMS
The whole business uses Arena [PLM and QMS]. It is the platform for all of our schematics and documentation.
- Documents are online, which is far superior to retrieving them by going to look for them physically, you could also retrieve older documents, which for some other companies can be a challenge.
- Often times it is challenging to find the documents. [In my experience,] I am certain that very frequent users have no issues. [However, in my opinion,] newbies ARE going to find the process cumbersome, clunky, and counter-intuitive.
- Most places use files or part numbers or title descriptions for finding items. While Arena [PLM and QMS] 'seems' to be able to do this, it is not a quick method [in my opinion]. [In my experience,] I always have to jump through 3 hoops of struggle to get where I want. Please, Please, PLEASE make this more user-friendly!
