Overall Satisfaction with Okta

We are using Auth0 for our app users' sign-in/signup. We are currently using the SMS login but plan to implement more authentication solutions.

Pros

  • Third-party integrations.
  • Use of JWT.
  • Ease to start.

Cons

  • Lack of control. For example, on the verification code sent by SMS.
  • Lack of implementation between different services.
  • Development time savings.
  • Reduce security concerns.
  • Reduce flexibility and room for functionality changes.
I think Auth0 is excellent for enterprise customers, but it's not too good for final customers.

Configuring Okta

I think it's right for the type of product. Sometimes a bit complex, but that's understandable. And other times just not doable.
