Overall Satisfaction with The Okta Identity Cloud

Auth0 provides us a trusted and scalable method for user authentication and authorization for our Software as a Service (SaaS) product which includes a user dashboard accessed via a web browser. We embed Auth0 in our flagship product and use it for our own software testing and development.
  • Easy to implement
  • Clear documentation and use cases
  • Ability to scale with our company as we grow
  • Annoying sales people
  • Shift from open source to for-profit model
  • Unsure of their future roadmap as they are now profit driven and no longer open source
  • Increased speed to market
  • Provided a roadmap that allowed us to scale with our client's growth
  • Unsure product roadmap after their acquisition and switch from open source
Auth0 is non-evasive and does not require software download. It is user friendly, seamless, and doesn't require additional actions on the part of the user. IBM Trusteer is none of these things and is based on a technology stack that cannot scale in the same way as Auth0. We believe Auth0 provides a superior solution and is well suited for our own technology stack.
Great for user authentication and access priviledge management. We are using it for both our commercial and financial clients and Auth0 meets all the regulations and due diligence required to close deals with these enterprise customers. Given their tiered pricing structure, we don't see a scenario where Auth0 would not be appropriate for the solution it provides.

Configuring The Okta Identity Cloud

So far, Auth0 provides all that we need and has the product roadmap for what we need supported in the future. However, we are unsure of how much the roadmap may change after the company's recent merger. I would say that for now, the product configurability is just right for us.
