Overall Satisfaction with AWS Auto Scaling

We use AWS auto scaling for scaling up our cloud virtual machines to handle the increase or decrease in workload. It really helps us to satisfy the demand because it doesn't take lot of time to spin up new machines and it is also very cost effective in terms of pricing.

Pros

  • To spin up new machines quickly
  • To delete the unused machines whenever load gets decreased
  • To support unexpected demand or surge in requests

Cons

  • May be they can add more functionality to the load balancer
  • Also there is scope for improvement in time which it takes to spin up new machines
  • It really helped us to save some cost
  • It has increased the revenue of our product as well
  • It also has less fault tolerance so the customers are satisfied
We use AWS auto scaling for scaling up our cloud virtual machines to handle the increase or decrease in workload. It really helps us to satisfy the demand because it doesn't take lot of time to spin up new machines. I gave the rating 10 because it really does help you to handle the sudden spike in number of requests.
AWS auto scaling handles the sudden surge in demand very effectively and it is also very cost effective in terms of pricing compared to the other service providers I have used. That is the main reason I opted for AWS auto scaling and also it is very reliable and has less fault tolerance.

Yes

It is well suited for scaling up our cloud virtual machines to handle the increase or decrease in workload. It really helps us to satisfy the demand because it doesn't take lot of time to spin up new machines. If there is unpredictability in the demand it is very useful. But it is a over kill if demand is consistent.
