Overall Satisfaction with Blueworks Live

As support and documentation in RPA design, delivery and operations.
  • Design: to help customer to define any detail of the process to be automated
  • Delivery: to share any detail of the automation.
  • Operations: to manage the released automation and change management.
Sometimes it is a sales leverage to engage customers.
  • Sharing jobs in the company
  • To engage customer
  • To record any detail in order to define processes
  • Managing other documentation
  • Insert and retrieve attributes on task and subtask
  • Inheritance between task and subtask
  • ROI
  • Quick learn (for colleague and customer)
  • Differentiator with customer
First, we benefit by sharing different implementations of RPA and by enhancing knowledge sharing between the different teams of our OU [organization].The second benefit is increasing training paths of new colleagues (always in our OU). The third benefit is increasing customer knowledge and confidence during the development phase. Fourth benefit is reducing effort in order to produce project documentation and to manage changes.
Any change is notified to every involved person on our team and outside of it. Another good feature is the capability to collect contributions to process definition and documentation from different sources with different degree of filtering. It's very easy to add other new users to work on the repository with the right degree of visibility.
The main business issue is sharing experiences and increasing the rate of enhancement of our Value Proposition: Business automation. Blueworks Live helps us to get results especially in present environment with remote working. Our teams can work and share experiences.
Obviously, some problems could arise anyway, because critical factors of success are people themselves and the real challenge is to have them commit.
  • IBM Watson Natural Language Classifier
Please note we are using Blueworks Live with IBM RPA. It's a good compromise between the need to have an effective knowledge repository and the effort to maintain it. By using the Saas model it's very easy to start to use Blueworks live and have people inside and outside our organization commit to it.
To start an environment you don't need to have a data model well defined. You can start and then adapt your data model with different needs and degree of depth. It's very easy to produce effective documentation with less effort. Last but not least, to maintain all the stuff it's cheaper than other solutions.
It's a good choice if people have experience with other Process Documentation tools or if you need to document processes in simple and effective way. It's not so good if people have no previous experience with other tools or if they need a deep and structured approach. It's bad if people don't think documentation issues matter or they don't want change their behaviour.
