Overall Satisfaction with Budgyt

We mainly use Budgyt as our budgeting software. Previously we used spreadsheets with links that often broke or were corrupted. We are able to set up different scenarios without overriding the original data.

Pros

  • Tailored to your agency needs
  • User friendly and intuitive
  • You don't have to enter the same information in different sections as they are all connected.

Cons

  • Need interface with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Saved time and headache of not losing data or getting corrupted data on spreadsheets
  • Being able to compare expenses and see seasonality for accurate budgeting
Having a web version of Budgyt is more accessible than having to store your data on server-based budgeting software. The software is easy to follow and even though some of our staff use it once a year, it takes them minimal time to catch up.
We have different cost center and Budgyt allows us to budget them separately and also build different scenarios. Each cost center can have different setups which has been a game changer for our company.
We chose Budgyt because of their user-friendly software.

The forecasting function helps with completing the budget. The software has many features that allow you to forecast/budget based on a flat % or a certain seasonality. My favorite feature is being able to allocate staff based on the revenue. As you make changes to the budget it recalculates and allocates appropriately.
