Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI)

We use Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure as our prime datacenter technology. It helped consolidate the different business lines into one physical box, allowing them to be logistically separate. It added programmability so that we can do repetitive tasks with a click of a button, reducing human error. Help reduce datacenter footprint.

Now we can logically move the server from a build vlan to a production vlan with ease. Adding new capacity has become very simple. Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure upgrade process is very straightforward and saves lots of time as network engineering does not have to do individual devices and save lots of time and weekend activity.
With the integration with Ansible and Terraform, users can write code and manage the Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure tenant using it. This helped reduce the human error and save the time so that user can conccentrate on more proudctive business related work. User also get the opportunity to fix the other issue.

If you want to logically separate your network but have different business lines server connected to it at the same leaf, it is very easily doable using Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure. End point group will let you control communication between different EGP's. Contract structure can become very clumsy and difficult to read. Need help in reading contract structure and identifying of overlapping or unused contracts.
