Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI)

Application Centric networks, pushing new vlans to Vmware
and checking where each servers live without going back to the documentation

Pros

  • MicroSegmentation
  • IAC with terraform

Cons

  • the GUI can use a bit more improvments too many clicks
  • troubleshooting is harder than traditional networks
  • Better segmentation of servers
alot of time saved especially when adding new switches or migrating servers from one place to another
we are running Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI) with full terraform integration so I strongly agree on this point
