Cisco Catalyst Benefits

Not yet, we are in the process of evaluating DNA solution to get the advantage of analytics and be able to live monitor our network and be aware of all traffic issues faster.

Cisco Catalyst Customization and Manageability

We are using the IP-Base license for the moment, so we're not using the advanced customization.

We have been a customer of this brand since 2004 and we were very satisfied with the performance. As mentioned, our entire network is running with this Catalyst brand, with model 3750, but we made the natural upgrade to the model 3850 in our core to improve performance and release memory since model 3750 was at 70% of memory use. Now with the model 3850 we are at 15%. Performance is great and network management is excellent. We can rely on the catalyst solution for our data traffic in our entire organization.

Likelihood to Recommend

Core switching for medium size enterprises.
Manage network segregation by using VLANS, and assure security with access list.
