Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Center

I'm a partner running Cisco Catalyst Center in a University. We set it up from ground up, green field.

Pros

  • Observability
  • Scalability
  • Automation
  • Visual Guidance

Cons

  • More affordable for smaller customers
  • Don't change the name of the product
  • GUI Changes (old -> new) are often not great
  • Positive impact is software upgrade.
  • Negative is hard to debug and/or sometimes you need TAC to assist you for issues in the backend. Like some processes frozen or something like that.

It's a great platform, easy to use, scalable and has useful assurance tools to boot.
