Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Center

We use it as a centralized management system and for overall device health. We have also used the templating features to build/deploy new device configurations.

Cons

  • I would like to be able to use it as a ZTP style provisioning system for remote sites
  • It has improved our ability to monitor hundreds of devices
  • It has improved our ability to get telemetry data as well

It has been well suited for new site deployments where we create the config, apply it to a device and ship it out to the site post configuration. I would like to be able to use more of the ZTP options within Cisco Catalyst Center to completely build new sites remotely.
