Using Cisco Catalyst Center
3 - The three users are part of our IT/network team. We are responsible for network operations, monitoring, torubleshooting and overall infrastructure management. Catalyst Center is mainly used for day-to-day network visibility, configuration management and helping us maintain stable and secure campus environment. We have an SD-Access deployed, so it is essential for managing the fabric, policies, and segmentation.
2 - In our case, with SD-Access deployed, supporting Cisco Catalyst Center needs network engineers who know routing, switching and wireless well. They also need to understand SD-Access fabric, segmentation and policies. Good troubleshooting skills help, and it’s useful to know automation and basic network security. Hands-on experience with daily tasks is important too.
