Rugged switch for harsh environment

We use Cisco Catalyst IE3200 rugged switches in areas with harsh working environment (dust, moisture, power issues). Typically, these are mechanical rooms or garages where network connectivity is a key factor for maintenance staff. Ability to provide power to wireless access points and IP cameras allow us to power up the devices directly not using power injectors. In addition, these switches can be easily integrated to DNA Center software which provides remote monitoring and management, and we are able to easily integrate it with other access switches in the company.

Our company uses Cisco DNA Center for network monitoring, maintenance and network automation. Catalyst IE3200 switches are based on IOS XE platform and fully supported by DNA Center which allows us to easily integrate it to our management processes. Health monitoring provides all the sensor's data and alerting.

We use Catalyst IE3200 switches for IoT zone which provides device security and segmentation. Separate VLANS and access control lists restrict access between different zones.
