Cisco Catalyst IR1100 Rugged Series Routers Consume Average Power while Offering Ultimate IoT Advanced Tools
Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst IR1100 Rugged Series Routers
In my previous organization, I was using Adtran in NetVana Routers and Switches, but it wasn't the best fit for IoT advancements. Cisco Catalyst IR1100 Rugged Series Routers is an ideal solution since it has modular LTE that makes it effective to adapt to our networking changes.
Pros
- Doesn't consume high power unlike Adtran which exceeded 10w.
- Offers firstnet and 5g-ready speed.
- It is compatible with hostile areas having electrostatic discharge, dust and shock.
Cons
- Compared to Adtran, I would prefer Cisco Catalyst IR1100 Rugged Series Router. The vendor support team responds rapidly whenever we have issues with their tools since we have incorporated a lot of Cisco physical and cloud systems.
- DHCP Address for each port is a new feature that has replaced CLI.
- Personalized LCD: It has 0-7 LCD colors which can be controlled in real-time.
- 4 ADSL MIB tools.
- SD-WAN enabled.
- IoT optimization.
- High internet speed with 5g-ready improve productivity.
- Real-time crucial data analyzation at network edge.
- GPS enabled - help track and manage assets based on the network against theft.
Unlike Cisco Catalyst IR1100 Rugged Series Routers, Adtran NetVana Routers and Switches was above average in power consumption.
