Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN

For me, the automatically implemented load balance between the different Internet providers, as well as the monitoring of the lines themselves are one of the biggest advantages of the Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Infrastructure. Template-based system-wide management also facilitates device configuration and troubleshooting. The configuration of the remote offices is templated and possible changes are easily scaled.
  • Template-based configuration
  • Load-balance between ISPs
  • Overview of the entire WAN infrastructure
  • Renaming the names of the objects
  • Integration with other Cisco SD products
  • Better monitoring
  • Positive - selling more DNA licenses

Yes

Are you happy with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN again?

Yes

Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN is well suited for a transition from old DMVPN/FlexVPN networks to modern stuff. The more devices you have to manage, the easier and nicer they are to configure. Of course, for small installations, with up to 10-20 routers, it might not make a lot of sense.
