Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches

CAT9Ks provide the critical access layer on all our offices globally. We use 9200s for DIA, 9300 stacked for small offices, 9410 for larger offices, 9500 for WAN connectivity.

Cons

  • Upgrade process, steps can be more streamlined
  • Meraki dashboard access
  • Positive: stability, minimal downtime
9500s are feature rich than the 9400 and more suited for WAN
