- They have gotten better on visibility features over the years
- They are stable and reliable it day to day operations
- They scale well
- They have a tendency to go to Rommon if you reload them a few times in a short period. This can impact bench config/deployment.
- They serve as the body of the network allowing for distribution of the network system to the places that it is needed.
I have found catalyst more user friendly and reliable.
