Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Catalyst Switches

Using Cisco Catalyst Switches as a Core, Aggregation and access. Scenarios depends on specific model. For example C9500 Is used as a Core and Aggregations in Data Centers and Telecommunications nodes. We usually make stack-wise or virtual stack with 2 units. Also on some of clusters we have installed SSDs for capturing netflow.

  • Not all models have power-stack
  • In service upgrade sometime runs not as planned
  • Strong PoE (power over ethernet) capabilities
