Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headset 700 Series
I use the Cisco 730 for audio and video calls and for listening to music while working throughout the day. As a remote worker the noise canceling helps me focus when it is noisy outside. I can use the headset 10+ hours a day and the battery never runs down. The headset is light weight but build quality is excellent.
- Sound quality is excellent.
- Headset is lightweight compared to other models I have used.
- Battery life is excellent. All day use on 1 charge.
- The cushioning on the top of the headset could be beefier.
- Allows me to focus more because of the noise cancellation.
- Hands free lets me use the computer while I am on a call
- Light weight and great battery life means I can spend all day in meetings, if needed.
Opened the box and charged the headset the recommended 2.5 hours before using. I plugged the USB dongle into my laptop and there was a firmware update for the device that took about 5 minutes to download and install. Once I rebooted the device I set it as the default in Windows and it worked with my Zoom, Webex and Jabber clients seamlessly.
The noise cancellation is superior to other headsets I have used. Sound quality is superior as well. Better than some over ear headsets I have used. When I am not in meetings I tend to listen to music from Youtube streaming channels and the sound is better as well.
I haven't used the headset with my mobile phone so I have not used the app to make any adjustments. For me, after a firmware update when I initially received the device, the settings have remained as they were when I opened the box.
