Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Hypershield

The product solves with the issue to look from the network into the kubernetes-environment. IT can solve automated workload segmentation and I want to use it for a security fabric which includes all device types a network has to offer.

Pros

  • The graphic to understand a packet through the k8
  • eBPF
  • Exploit protection

Cons

  • The capacity to support more automatic features, to fulfill the promised original scope of the product
  • Understanding the Goal of Micro segmentation without the graph
  • Non yet, the product is not GA
The Original scope of the product was to bring eBPF and Micro segmentation to customer which automated design philosophies even for small teams, to get the security Layer up and running. This is maybe at risk right now.
