Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Intersight

Normally most of the times we respond to network data center network issue as reactive manner rather than proactive. Cisco claims that they inform us about abnormal network behaviors in advance before they affect network performance. Also Cisco claims that they can obtain tech-support files through Cisco Intersight but TAC engineers always asks to manually upload tech support files. We have experienced Intersight with Cisco ACI.

  • Lack of information how to integrate various Cisco solutions with Cisco Intersight
  • Improve support across Cisco DC product portfolio
  • Need updated documents regarding features and usability
  • Cisco Intersight was a free tool when we tried it
  • We could observe entire Cisco ACI network infrastructure where investment was already done
  • Investment protection as future purchases can also used with products like Cisco UCS
The simple reason is we use Cisco Data center products and there is no other products that can offer these features for Cisco products other than Cisco Intersight.
We did not take Cisco support
It helped with getting required support for Cisco ACI infrastructure for us.
We have not used this feature yet.

Huawei Cloud Application Orchestration Service (AOS), Huawei Cloud Container Engine (CCE), Huawei Cloud Data Express Service
Uptime is very important for current data centers addition to simplifying support, ensuring compliance and improving security of data center networks. Cisco Intersight covers these in a single GUI dashboard. This tool is very useful in current VXLAN, Cisco ACI deployed data centers where visibility is important and sometimes users and administrators feel new architectures lack of traditional visibility tools where intersight could help.
