Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches

I use the Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches as my spine and leaf switches.

Pros

  • BGP peering with NSX
  • CLI ease of use
  • STIGs clearly defined

Cons

  • Pairing with non cisco switches can be challenging
  • Adding DHCP to the interfaces has not always worked
  • Allowed me to move away from Dell switches
  • Unified my platform to a single standard
It allows me to add more Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches as leafs to bring more racks online with minimal effort on my engineers part.
Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches have not improved my mind when it comes to security.
Ease of use to anyone that has used Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches in the past.
