Overall Satisfaction with Cisco SD-WAN

I work on the ATM circuit provisioning team where I configure Cisco C1111's for ATM's for our network. At this moment I do not have any issues with VMange where I do most of my configurations. We just moved our configs to new templates and Cisco was valuable assisting with that effort. I am happy with the Cisco SW-WAN product at this point.
  • I like the detailed software included in the VManage produce. Pretty straight forward once trained.
  • Documentation is nice. I have to upload files from Cisco website at times when we need to update device serials in our VMange when we purchase or re-purpose C1111 routers. And that process seems to be effortless.
  • I am looking forward to more functions in VMange once I get trained on the functions I do not use at this point, but I'm sure there will be a learning curve whatever comes with new areas in VManage.
  • I wish there was a way to send multiple commands when gaining access to routers using SSH. I'm really not a fan of pasting commands from browser. I've researched everywhere and cannot find anything.
  • Automation
  • Functionality of software package.
  • the ability to customize software.
  • I am not in management at this point, so I have no ROI info at this point.
I've only worked with the Cisco C1111.

Do you think Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN again?

Yes

Because I'm only in configuration of the SD-WAN devices, I cannot really scenarios where I make suggestions for improvements. Everything is working for what I do. I enjoy the automation functions of the software package and the ease at which all of the different configs in routers come together and re all in the same place.
