Overall Satisfaction with Cisco ThousandEyes
I use Cisco ThousandEyes for visibility into bandwidth bottlenecks and high CPU alarms. I have a live dynamic map of my R/S network as well!
Pros
- Map the entire network using SNMP
- provide real-time bottlenecks
- Show and notify my team of alarms and bandwidth issues
- replace other vendors' monitoring and visibility systems
Cons
- more device agents!!
- clearer definitions of errors
- faster troubleshooting of bandwidth issues
- much less expensive than other monitoring solutions
