Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Board Series

We have Cisco Webex Board Series in office huddle spaces for use by any employee. It simplifies meeting rooms by being an all-in-one device for video conferencing, sharing, white boarding, and telephone calls. The built-in WebRTC components mean it works with Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft meetings. These devices have some limitations on getting whiteboards off the device and the stylus going missing. On-screen controls are easy to use. But sharing computer screens during a meeting requires an HDMI cable or sharing through the Webex app. In most areas, the HDMI cable isn't even supplied.
  • Ease of setup and use.
  • Appealing form factor design, it looks really sleek.
  • Registration and integration to Webex Control Hub is very simple.
  • Webex-centric environments provide seamless usability across apps/devices.
  • Whiteboarding is implemented poorly.
  • Its a very heavy device.
  • The floor stand is very large and prevents the device from being flush with a wall.
  • Cheaper than other room system offerings from Cisco.
  • Doesn't require an additional TV/screen purchase.
  • All in one design lowers costs during office refreshes.
It's the same as any other Cisco device. Cisco TAC is hit or miss with quality.
It is pretty easy to do simple things, but when you try to do advanced features, it falls short.

Do you think Cisco Board Series delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Cisco Board Series's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco Board Series live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Cisco Board Series go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cisco Board Series again?

Yes

This is well suited for a small area that doesn't require screen shares during meetings. Never put this device in a large conference room as a "Companion" device; the functionality is just not there yet to justify the cost. The device is expensive and then requires a monthly subscription.
