Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Room Series
We are in the process of rolling out complete buildings (100+ rooms per building) with this as the new conference room standard. This has solved the conference room experience. We have a single solution that we can train users on and it has one touch (and if you use your voice, 0 touch) meeting join experiences. It's probably the best solution I have ever seen for the conference rooms.
- One button join experience
- Room analytics and meeting analytics
- Single experience to train regardless of the unit chosen
- clean looking and great audio and video quality.
- It's not cheap! But its worth it.
- I do wish the voice controls had more interaction and features. But I hear those are coming
- We had to look at the soft costs. But we were spending 5-15 minutes getting each meeting running with an average of 4-6 people per meeting, that money was adding up. Now we have meetings starting in under a minute so we are saving that money times about 2500 meetings per day. So this was a huge const savings that far outweighed what we payed for the hardware.
We pay about the same (a little more per room but not more that $1000) for the addition of video in to each conference room. So this was such a great addition for us because once you add video into the mix then the meeting changes. Things get done faster, people are more focused and engaged. And overall happier. They think they will not like it, but in the end, our users really like to see each other and feel more connected. It's especially relevant now that we have this COVID stuff keeping us apart. Cisco has been a life saver during this time.
