Overall Satisfaction with CodeSignal

The organization primarily works on the data side dealing with big data. Typical assessment platforms are not sufficient in judging the skills in areas of data or in other areas as development or full-stack. I feel CodeSignal is a complete package that supports Jupyter Notebook integrations and makes it easy to test shell scripts knowledge, as it provides a Linux environment.
  • Jupyter Notebook
  • Linux environment
  • Collaborative editing
  • Better debugger natively without installation
  • Support for SRE assessment like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Preconfigured environment and no need to install again and again
  • Data-driven assessment
  • Data processing
  • Distributed system assessment
  • Easy to assess candidate
  • Expensive for hiring just few candidates
  • Good ROI for mass hiring
CodeSignal has support for many different types of testing ranging from algorithms to data structures to web development where API calls are required. It also supports other types of assessment like system design and Linux shell scripting. It offers a better autocomplete than any other platform with integration with Jupyter Notebook. It is a complete platform with video testing.

CodeSignal is well suited for scenarios where there are more collaborative and system design interviews. It supports multiple types of assessment like web development, algorithms, data structures, and Linux skills. It also offer Jupyter Notebook for testing. I feel it requires more maturity for machine learning assessment. I would like to see Google Colab integration.
