Overall Satisfaction with Cohesity Helios
Cohesity is being used across the entire organization for data backups, protection, and part of our disaster recovery options. We replicate backups across sites and archive to the cloud. It is also used for temporary development and test environments.
Pros
- The user interface is very easy to learn and operate
- Deployment of the platform takes about an hour from unboxing, racking, to setting up your first backup jobs.
- Tech support is very responsive and follows through
Cons
- The physical device agent is a bit quirky but has come a long way and improvements are being made all the time
Overall Satisfaction Continued
- This has been a set and forget backup and data protection product. When we have had the odd failure, tech support is aware of the issue and usually sends me an email before I have had a chance to open a ticket. It has provided piece of mind and one less thing to worry about.
- Cohesity continuously improves features and functions.
Cohesity is far easier to use and maintain. The user interface is HTML5 and not Java. If power is lost, a call to support is not required as the Cohesity device brings itself back online.
