Overall Satisfaction with Conga Advantage CPQ

we leverage the Conga Advantage CPQ for our Global goto market order capture scenario for product sales and services contract quoting. It helps with making sure the Configuration correctness and quality of order are upheld.

  • performance especially during configuration process
  • transitions between configuration and pricing could be faster
  • establish a global quoting platform across the company
  • improve configuration quality prior to order
  • pricing controls
while we leverage configuration rules to a great extent, the process of administration to setup the product structures and rules has its challenges. the system also does not provide a robust workspace type of an environment to validate the administration setups causing additional process to be established prior to releasing to the field for quoting. we do not use pricing rules and digital commerce
am able to establish a quote with proper configuration satisfying the necessary rules and guardrails.

Conga Advantage CPQ handles simple standalone products well. when it comes to Configurable products, while it provides good flexibility of defining complex structures and rules, the runtime execution of the configurator engine performance could be better, especially when it comes to transition between configuration process and pricing. ability to define predefined configurations capability can be improved as well.
