Overall Satisfaction with Conga CLM (Conga Contracts)

Conga CLM is used for contract management across various businesses and functions in the organization. The platform helps in creating a centralized platform for all contracting needs. It also helps assigning lawyers for reviewing contracts.
  • Database for all contracting templates
  • Assigning lawyers for reviewing contracts
  • Creating agreements based on user inputs
  • Sending for third party review doesn't work sometimes
  • X-author 2.0 has given huge number of issues
  • More user friendly
  • Significant time saved for a user since the contract gets assigned within the system to a designated lawyer
  • Centralized stop for all contracting needs
  • Editing the word document is a big challenge due to the smart fields and X-author. Third parties are not aware of smart fields or X-author and it becomes increasingly challenging for them
The existing issues need to be solved along with the quality of customer support they provide. Long turnaround times for resolving issues related to Conga/X-author

It is well suited for serving as a centralized platform for contracts and for generating templates. The interface with MS word does not work well at all since X-author has given several problems creating a not so friendly user experience. It is too complicated to use and third parties do not have good experience/feedback on the same since it creates a number of challenges while editing the document and also, when one has to reconcile the document back into Conga
