  • The system does a good job accounting for user errors and human mistakes. For example, in a previous system, once a performance review was "published" by a manager it could not be edited or deleted. This meant that if a manager said something inappropriate or about the wrong employee nothing could be done. Cornerstone accounts for these types of errors giving system administrators that ability to edit or remove content.
  • The system is user friendly and has a visually appealing dashboard. Users are able to find what they need to complete their day to day jobs, without being overwhelmed with functions that are not needed.
  • On the other hand, if a user would like to utilize more advanced functions within the system they are easy to use and easily applied to multiple types of businesses.
  • As a member of the implementation team, my largest source of frustration was the management of the historical data being brought over from our previous system. The CornerStone team while helpful, painted a picture that was easier than reality.
  • Absolutely this program will solve a great deal of painful experiences with our internal employees in regards to the previous system. The functionality and reporting aspects of the system allow for employees to easily track and manage employees performance and learning as well as their own.
While we are still in our early stages of using the system, our experience compared to the last system has been very positive, and I think would lend us to renew our use of CornerStone in the future. We will be using surveys and depend on our employee population to largely determine the success of the system. So far all feedback has been positive from both users and administrators of the system.
Again, being in the beginning stages of use of the system it is hard to say. Right now from an administrator's perspective the system has been easy to use and implement. Configuration is not timely and the guidance given to the administrators has been great including online courses, conference calls and in person classes.
