Overall Satisfaction
In my previous role as a consultant at LinkedIn, the company was moving to Cornerstone On Demand to manage employee education across departments. Different departments were using different platforms and with Cornerstone, the company was trying to bring in consistency. In my department, we were just starting with developing elearning courses for customer service reps, so we needed a platform to host our courses and track user registration and completion for the same.
- Publishing SCORM courses on Cornerstone on Demand is simpler and requires very little/no programming
- Cornerstone offers the ability to create lots of groups - so if you have a geographically diverse workforce, it's easy to create user groups and manage learning across diffrent regions/roles/levels.
- Cornerstone tries to keep you up-to-date on platform changes and has a whole site dedicated to training resources. Those are very useful when someone is new to the platform and needs to come up to speed faster.
- While their training resources are very handy, they tend to be a little dry and very long at times. If they can make their training more interactive and fun, it would be great for users who are new to their platform.
- More adoption by our customer service reps and users
