Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand

Cornerstone addresses the training tracking needs that our business was struggling with. We use it across the entire organization for technical training and leadership development. Prior to implementation of Cornerstone, we were tracking completions of coursework on Excel spreadsheets. This solution allows us to make all of that information visible to our employees and put their learning in their hands to manage.

Pros

  • Cornerstone's customer support is top notch. I always feel important and that my concerns are a top priority.
  • While the system is robust, the learning opportunities are there to support you along the way. You can learn at your own pace.
  • Cornerstone makes it a point to connect you to other users via forums and user group meet-ups. This allows you to collaborate and learn best practices in a wonderful environment.

Cons

  • The system is robust and sometimes it is difficult to find a setting here or there.
  • Occasionally I find an area of the system that isn't described well and I have to do some research to find out if it will be of assistance to us as an organization.
  • Our employees have control of their learning and that allows us to identify employees with a drive to improve.
  • We have seen an increase in participation is training classes now that they have more visibility.

I think that the system is a great solution for any size business to assist in learning management. It has been a challenge to roll out the system to our people as they do not sit in an office environment.

Cornerstone is addressing this as they continue to develop their mobile experience.
