Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand

We use it across our entire organization in all departments. I work within the Learning platform, however, we also utilize the Recruiting and Performance platforms as well. Within Learning, we heavily rely on the system to push compliance training and others alike. Additionally, we have created hundreds of in-house training which are included in our new hire training.

Pros

  • Allows you to upload your own content.
  • Allows you to customize to your own needs.
  • Maintains relevance with quarterly updates.

Cons

  • Versioning online classes.
  • Adding additional reporting and analytics fields.
  • Revamp of Communities/Connect.
  • Compliance.
  • Continue education.

I can't speak to the configurability of other platforms, as I am only familiar with Cornerstone. But in my experience, yes the CSOD platform is very customizable and configurable for our needs.


I did not play a role in our companies selection of Cornerstone over alternatives.
As I have mentioned before, the LMS platform has allowed us to load out in-house training and customize our own platform to meet the needs of our organization. We also host numerous ILT events and sessions for internal continuing education, so having those features available all in one place makes it a valuable tool for the organization.
