Overall Satisfaction with CrowdStrike Falcon
We use CrowdStrike Falcon Complete to augment our IT staff. Using complete gives us the 24X7 protection we need without burdening our already time challenged staff. The combination of CrowdStrike Falcon on our endpoints and monitoring by Crowdstrike Falcon complete gives us the coverage we need.
- Staff did a great job pointing our IT workers to areas that needed remediation.
- CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint consistently blocks incursions from compromised websites and prevents PUPs from installing
- Complete Staff is very attentive and makes whitelist changes quickly which allows our staff to be productive.
- The Dashboard can become overwhelming at times, too much information to absorb
- Computers that may have made it out into the field without the endpoint sensor are very difficult to find
- As with all systems that rely on machine learning false positives occurr
- Allows our network admin to sleep at night
- The use of CrowdStrike Falcon complete made an overnight security/network admin unecessary

We did not have most of the tools nor the skills to use the tools in CrowdStrike Falcon before signing up with Complete. Prior to complete we were using endpoint security. Now we have access to overwatch, Identity protection and spotlight...really the complete team sort through the info and let us know if there are concerns.
I do not think for us it was a matter of consolidating, it was more the idea of having people who are knowlegable looking at the logs and information collected by the software. From the info they are able to determine where our staff should be spending their time so we can concentrate on the important information and can ignore the "noise"
Our goal was to protect the network and give our owner and executive team the confidence that our network was being monitored and protected. With Crowdstrike Falcon Complete we can be sure our network is being monitored in the off hours when most incursions occur. We have found that the team is very helpful in keeping our staff focused and allows balance between work and home life.

I think Carbon black is as good a product as CrowdStrike Falcon. We went with CrowdStrike Falcon because it was cheaper at the time and then stuck with it when Dell bought Carbon Black. I find that the logging and information is much better that Microsoft defender, many of the times we had defender telling us something is wrong but when you try to drill down to see what the problem is you can't there is no information about what causes the problem just that there was a problem.
