Overall Satisfaction with Cube

We use Cube for purposes of budgeting and forecasting primarily, as it helps us get a more holistic view of our Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow Statements. It provides a good means for us to drill-down into specific pieces of where we're spending money, both in terms of our account and department.

Pros

  • Very user-friendly, making it easy to view/modify our dimensions
  • Easy to pull multiple dimensions into excel/google sheets
  • Integrates well with our existing accounting software

  • Would be great to have more pre-built templates
  • Syncing speed is pretty slow
  • Forecasting

For a smaller startup such as ours, Cube is a great tool that gives us a holistic view into our budget vs. actuals. Though the learning curve may be a bit tricky for those accustomed to using Excel, the interface is still fairly intuitive. Their CSM team is also very responsive and eager to help out where necessary.
