IBM Db2 is very secure and scalable and it has very good performance in resource heavy applications
Overall Satisfaction with Db2
I have been a long time Db2 user starting with version 7.7 and working through to the latest version and I can definitely tell you that when it comes to dependability and scalability and resource intensive applications, Db2 is the best solution that you'll ever need. And with its smooth interface which uses cobol and mainframe systems, managing large volumes is very easy and effective.
Pros
- almost near zero downtime
- simple UI and can easily be used using sql syntax
- compatible with both older and modern systems
Cons
- should have a option where we can create our own shortcut keys for different jobs
- currently only supports a few other language apart from english
- can be complex for some users
- guarantees business continuity while sharply lowering downtime
- helps to simplify data creation which increases output
- results in improved data processing efficiency
The cursor function simplifies our database navigation and I really like how we ca schedule duties at particular periods which helps me to save time on repetitious tasks. Also they have the best enterprise grade support out there which again makes it a great solution and a great fit for us.
We frequently use Db2 for data management for major projects which has fundamentally changed the way we manage our backend activities including payment processing and other sensitive operation. And thanks to its durability, we have almost no downtime and the data can be readily added and retrieved.
