Overall Satisfaction with DbVisualizer

I use DbVisualizer to connect to multiple dbms' across aws, azure, and sql server. I use a Mac, so this helps me to connect to all of them without having to install multiple tools.

Pros

  • query writing
  • data export
  • syntax highlighting

Cons

  • better keyboard shortcuts
  • streamlines deployment of tools to engineers.
  • cuts down of engineers having to jump from one tool to another when they switch focus.
Because for what it does well, it does it very well and doesnt sacrifice much, if anything.
  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Azure Data Explorer and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)
