Overall Satisfaction with Dialogflow (formerly Api.ai)

Integrating Dialogfow into the chat applications that customers use to communicate with us makes it easy to manage bookings and information delivery to our customers. it enables us to surface standard information to users without having to use up the resource of a support officer who could be working on more complicated queries, which Dialogflow can escalate.

  • Easy to pick up.
  • Able to handle many languages.
  • Some of the features are still in beta phase.
  • The languages available are still limited.
  • The advanced features may not be accessible to new users.
  • Saved on support officers workload.
  • After an initial set up period, it has proved itself worthy of that time.
The support team is very quick to respond and give guidance or address issues when raised.

It's accessible to new users, and as much as its advanced features can be complicated, it can still be implemented by those will little software development knowledge.
It is very well suited for first-line queries, where the user simply seeks saved information. However, the speech to text recognition has proven to be lacking in accuracy for our disabled users.
