Overall Satisfaction with Diligent One Platform

I do not have insight into this at the time. While working inside Diligent One Platform for several months there is still a lot to learn about the system.
Currently, we are only utilizing ACL/Diligent One Platform for Audit purposes. We have begun extending functionality beyond with python. We use it to pull populations and selections for the auditors. We are rapidly evolving our usage and creating more and more complex scripts for both IT and Financial Audits. Currently, we have API's to 3 systems with intentions to expand within the next year.

Pros

  • Data integrity
  • API Connections
  • GUI to CUI command generation

Cons

  • Inclusion of Python within ACL
  • Speed and Error Trapping and Correction of Diligent One Platform (Highbond) Site. We experience large numbers of 404 errors and delays
  • Some actions require repeating actions and it can become cumbersome
  • We regularly are saving time and costs by automating processes
  • We are able to provide our customers with confidence in our business
  • Compliance is a growing area for us
We continue to improve our visibility with the Storyboards, although facing resistance from mgmt.

Would you buy Diligent One Platform again?

Yes

Diligent One Platform Robots are wonderful, however, the SaaS web interface has room for improvement. Regular issues arise with time-outs and delays. The format for projects is great. It is an easy way to roll projects over year over year and be prepared for the next. However, there is not an actual tool to do so and a script must be updated for each new version's changes.

Using Diligent One Platform

10 - We use the Diligent One platform for Internal Audit purposes. The primary areas we use are Risk & Strategy, Audit and Analytics, Reports, and are beginning to integrate Activity Center. The diligent Academy is a great way to prepare users for various activities especially ACL & ACL scripting.
