Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our team was faced with reviewing about 1,500 e-mails and other documents on a very short deadline. DISCO immediately ingested our data and was able to make it all searchable. After some short but effective training, I was able to narrow the focus and eliminate the "noise" from the data set to provide the attorney with key documents for a mediation. We ultimately got a very good result for our client.

The staff at DISCO was available to help on an on-demand basis. I was impressed with them being able to speak the language of litigation versus the other vendors I sometimes deal with who have only an IT focus.

DISCO is far beyond Relativity in ease of use and what it can do.

Likelihood to Recommend

Anytime there are native files produced on relatively modern software, DISCO will help. Older documents done on typewriters or documents that are hand-written heavy will not really benefit from DISCO ingestion.

Hi Jason, Thank you for your fantastic review! It was great reading about the success you had with your first matter with DISCO. I passed along your positive feedback to our support and services teams and they were so happy reading about your satisfaction with their services. Thank you for taking the time to share that with us. I wanted to share a couple tips regarding returning to the search results and hope they help. If I am understanding correctly, when you are in the doc viewer you want to be able to return to the search with 1 click? Closing out of the doc viewer using the X in the top right corner gets you back to your search results. Clicking the DISCO logo in the left gets you back to all docs. Also, you can pop out the doc viewer to a separate window to have side-by-side. If I didn’t understand your request correctly, please reach out to us - Stacy your CSM will be able to help. Also, just wanted to clarify a couple things about our processing of non-native docs: Our OCR will try to identify emails, etc. (so a pdf of an email chain can get the benefit of email threading). With typewritten docs, we use the latest OCR technology to identify and index the words. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Thank you again for your feedback!
