Overall Satisfaction with DISCO Ediscovery
Our firm uses it as our main e-discovery platform. We use it over other platforms (for example, Relativity or Veritas).
- Easy to set up review stages.
- Helpful metrics to oversee users' progress.
- Easy to add highlights.
- Intuitive setup.
- I liked how in Relativity you could correlate first-line and subsequent review coding panels.
- I'm told that AI has increased functionality, but I don't understand how it's integrated yet.
- It's allowed us to onboard new lawyers quickly.
- The first-line review services provided by DISCO Ediscovery have enabled us to take on larger matters.
It's increased efficiency while simultaneously limiting mistakes.
The forensics team is on point. They have done a great job on every matter. When it comes to project management, however, that largely varies based on the quality of the DISCO Ediscovery team. We've experienced mixed results based on who we've worked with.
We didn't have the resources in house to take on the size of the document review. We therefore used their first-line service to take a broad cut out of the documents, and then we applied a more nuanced second-line review.
I believe Relativity had greater functionality for more advanced users, but it's more complicated nature caused more mistakes among users who lacked experience.
