Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

Used to draw 2D aircraft instrument panels and sheet metal parts

Pros

  • I do not believe that DraftSight does anything particularly well

Cons

  • We do not do subscriptions!
  • We produce a product with which we supply a CAD product. We recommended DraftSight as an option. We actively discourage DraftSight now that you have gone to subscription only
  • none
EasyCAD, QCAD, NanoCAD, TurboCAD, GStar, Vellum. Our main CAD now is QCAD and that is what we supply for our customers. They have a very reasonable licensing scheme. QCAD loads fast and has great features.
We dont do subscriptions! If I want to pay for a new version with new features then so be it, but I dont want to keep paying for something I have already payed for.
