Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

Draftsight is being used just by one indvidual, me. It allows me to design metal products with ease and precision.

Pros

Cons

  • Changes to UI from versions
  • Wish i didn't have to deactivate licenses from computers, just allow one computer at a time.
  • The cost of the product is the best feature.
  • Makes for quick drawings and notes. Faster from rough notes to final product designs
Draftsight was great for me. I don't use Drafting or CAD heavily, just for basic drawings and designs, so being able to buy a program that doesn't have the glut of stuff I don't use was nice.

It changed the UI from the versions I'm used to and the settings on some things aren't easy to figure out. IE in the order versions, scaling on a page was easier and more intuitive.
