Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
DraftSight is being used by me to create equipment layouts to aid in the sale of equipment. The software is an economical solution to aid in creating meaningful drawings that are used to illustrate to the customer what their floor plan will look like after purchase and installation of equipment.
- Easy to use
- Has similar feature to AutoCAD, which is what I was trained on in college
- File format matches AutoCAD
- The erase or delete function does not work as well as AutoCAD
- It helped me to close the sale with a customer, as he wasn't just reading the written quote but also had a layout drawing to go with it.
I have only used AutoCAD, which is very comparable to DraftSight.
