Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
We use Draftsight to review drawings supplied by 3rd parties, generate concept designs before generating SOLIDWORKS files, site layouts, tooling inserts, and robot takeout arms.
Pros
- Good 2D drafting system, easy to use.
Cons
- Help system not as good as Acad but at least the commands are very similar.
- Saves using drafting consultants for initial concept work.
- Reduces the time taken to review third party designs.
Use ACAD and SOLIDWORKS
