Overall Satisfaction with Duo Security

It is being used and implemented [across] the entire company.
Duo Security helps simplify MFA process.
Whenever there is a problem, we can access Duo Security's web-page and know exactly where the problem is.
  • Thorough instructions for end-users to follow during enrollment period.
  • Easy to manage for administrator.
  • Great support.
  • During VPN process, sometimes Duo would send multiple prompts and if users didn't respond fast enough, it would lock the user out.
  • The Billing is in bulk [instead] of users. It would be great if Duo charged the amount of users instead of in bulk.
  • Duo helps [make] audit times a lot easier, hence helps increase the ROI.
  • Duo Security Support is good enough that we don't need to hire a third-party company to help solve issues, which helps us not spend more than we needed to on MFA
On the user end, it is very easy to use. We only need to show our users ONCE how to use it and he/she can pick it up right away no matter how tech savvy the end-user is.
As for administrator, it is easy to deploy and configure. If a user has a new phone, the admin can log into Duo Security's web-page and change it right then and there.
The end-users usually want to pick the easiest password for themselves to remember. We would have hard time sleeping at night if their password was the only thing between outsiders accessing our resources, but with Duo we have it deployed to our VPN service (on-premise). It helps us sleep better at night knowing it will take a lot more for an attacker to get into our resources.
Whenever I contact them, I get a tech on the other line pretty quickly. During COVID, where everyone was using their resources more, I didn't experience long call back or anything.

Great customer support for me overall!
It was during COVID when we were experiencing some random outages on Duo['s] proxy in our servers. The rep tried his best to give me all the resources and tips to prevent this from happening. The best part was they answer[ed] my call of emergency very quickly. I have nothing bad to say about their customer support.

It is easy to install and [has] great instructions and guides on their website to help solve many issues.

However, the cost can start to become a factor if you work in a company where users don't like to use their personal phone for business purposes. Duo Security will cost more because you would have to buy hardware tokens or other means to remediate this.
